The fishing up here is great! Since Danbury is a hidden gem, there aren't many tourists fishing, which means the ecosystem of the lakes are very healthy and the fish are abundant!

State Parks
Pattison state park is very close, over 7 miles of trails leading to a picturesque waterfall, it's a must see!

Hunting
Over 150,000 acres of public land available to hut in Burnett County Forest and other areas, it's a perfect destination for visitors with a passion for the great outdoors! Tons of state records were broken here, including the famous Jordan Buck!

Snowshoeing/cross-country skiing
Take it slow and spend time on one of our 7 scenic trails! Meander along the yellow river on the Forts Folle Avoine trail or head to Timberland Hills for some adventurous night skiing!

Snowmobiling
